What Rectors are Saying about Faith Alive!

What a sight it was to see the gymnasium fill up with members on Friday night and again on Saturday. The prayer vigil supported the Weekend. The music team masterfully wove together old hymns and new music to lead us in worship. The youth component was a hit with our young people, and two of our teens have already now served on a Faith Alive team in Georgia! Countless persons recommitted their lives to Christ on Sunday morning. Indeed, Holy Trinity is alive!
The Rev. Steve and Pam Easterday, Co-Rectors
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Melbourne, FL

By Sunday's recommitment service the whole parish could sense the power of God's presence, and responded with great openness and faithfulness. Parishioners who have been hesitant to pray out loud and to speak openly about their faith were encouraged and found themselves experiencing God in new ways.
The Rev. Janet Waggoner, Rector
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Shelton, CT

This was an excellent team and the greatest weekend experience I have ever been involved in. Everyone at St. Luke's was touched at some level. I would encourage any church to try Faith Alive.
The Rev. Michael Zumpf, Rector
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Eden, NC

Many of the congregation commented on how spiritually enriching the weekend was. The prayer time following the small groups on Saturday evening was the highest moment for me personally as I saw people in the pews praying alone or with one another. The presence of God was evident in many ways. Sunday morning's worship and time of recommitment was also a holy moment as people lined up toward the four prayer stations.
The Rev. Samuel Nsenglyumva, Rector
St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Sheboygan Falls, WI

Our parish grew a lot as the result of our Faith Alive. Excellent pacing. Discussion questions prompted good sharing. Follow-up materials were very helpful, creating lots of excitement. Three small groups have started as a result of the Faith Alive, and a youth group has formed.
The Rev. C. Michasel Annis, Rector
St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Henderson, NV

Attendance exceeded my hopes, and response to the Weekend was 100% enthusiastic and positive. The small-group time helped everyone to experience the value of sharing time and faith with one another
The Very Rev. Alan Kelmereit, Vicar
All Souls' Church Fort Myers, FL

The Team's gentle and loving spirits, so fully shared, made this weekend safe for even the most shy, skeptical members of our congregation. The soil is tilled, excellent seed was planted, and God is thankful to provide the water. Abundant fruit is coming forth!
The Rev. Becki Neumann, Rector
South Riding Anglican Church, South Riding, VA

The Faith Alive was a Spirit-filled one, lifting the congregation up tremendously. It was a Christ-awakening moment for us.
The Rev. Charles Roberts, Pastor John Knox Presbyterian Church, Rochester, NY

For many, the Faith Alive was like a long-overdue family reunion. Saturday morning's neighborhood groups was a highlight, as was the large gathering of men for the luncheon, with a deeper level of sharing. We are united, strong, poised, and ready to move ahead.
The Rev. Bob Coon, Rector
Holy Cross Anglican Church, Tallahasee, FL

A deeply moving spiritual experience. The Sunday worship was one of the best ever. God was spoken to us and we are now considering a new ministry of pastoral care in our parish. The testimonies gave us much to think about.
The Rev. Robert Outman-Conant, Rector
St. John's Episcopal Church, Holbrook, MA

This was an excellent team and the greatest weekend experience I have ever been involved in. Everyone at St. Luke's was touched at some level. I would encourage any church to try Faith Alive.
The Rev. Michael Zumpf, Rector
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Eden, NC

The witnessing was powerful, and the connection made between parishioners was excellent. The process of work before the Weekend was also very good for us. And the evaluation process gave us the best set of input about congregational life in my tenure at St. Aidan's. We will use it in the future.
It was powerful to hear stories of worldly power and spiritual emptiness, partularly for some of our parishioners who work in high-power positions or jobs.
The Rev. Mary Kate Rejouis, Rector
St. Aidan's Episcopal Churc, Boulder, CO

This was a real spiritual shot in the arm. The team was supurb. It is a joy to watch the Lord at work in His people! The testimonies of the team were short, focused, to the point and well-spoken. Each was varied and yet all fit together as pieces of a puzzle. Wonderful!
The Rev. Robert Brandt, Rector
Christ Church Episcopal Church, Port Washington, NY
